Kricket is quite a character with personality plus! Sadly his dam rejected him at birth and after giving it a good go to try and get her to accept him, we had to take on the role of milk bank ourselves! It was a fantastic experience though alot of hard work. Our children thoroughly enjoyed having a baby foal to feed and cuddle though Kricket was always paddocked with his “stepmum” Crystal ~ our dear old broodmare who is now deceased. She did an amazing job of looking after him as her own. We just supplied the milk! Kricket is now broken in and enjoying his ridden career. Kricket is growing up to be quite a handsome young man and he will always be special to us.
