A great show was had at the Royal Easter Show in Auckland on Friday 6th April 2012.

We took down our beautiful palomino girl ~ “Chelleason Dreams of Gold” ~ our first public outing with her. She behaved fantastically & I cannot thank Marin Vujcich enough for showing her for us & for doing such a wonderful job. We came home with Reserve Champion Derivative which was great & placings in the Golden Horse Ring. Dreams is currently being broken in & will then be turned out for winter.

Welcome home “Elegant Dance”

It is with great pleasure we welcome home “Elegant Dance” (Lexi) after almost 2 years away at Bellamy Lodge in the Waikato where she produced for them the gorgeous wee colt “Bellamy Busta Move”.

We are excited to breed Lexi to the stunning wee man ~ “Greenlee Solomon” this coming spring.

This upcoming foal will be offered for sale upon weaning ~ expressions of interest are welcome.

Windvale Azleta our beautiful purebred arabian mare has just scanned positive infoal to the stunning Welsh/Riding Pony ~ Greenlee Solomon. Cannot wait for this baby – it will be gorgeous! This coming foal will be available for sale upon weaning. Expressions of interest are welcome.

Also a visiting Welsh buckskin mare has also scanned posititive infoal to our beautiful boy ~ Fairview Kubla Khan *au.

“Emma & My Major” Kaitaia A&P Show 2012

Just thought I would share some photos of Emma and her beloved pony “My Major” from this past weekend at the Kaitaia A&P Show. Showhunter was in the afternoon where they won one class & a third in another. I was very proud. The beach photos are taken on the Sunday at the stunningly beautiful Puheke Beach. We had a lovely morning together.

So exciting! Dreams has arrived! She is just beautiful & I am over the moon with her. Dreams has settled in well today & seems relaxed & calm. She also seems to have taken to Emma big time & comes cantering to her when she sees her! Looking forward to our future with her as part of our family. Thank you to Marilyn Peterken of Graemar Lodge Stud for this fantastic opportunity.

“Parklands Playboy & Mahogany Ice Delight”

A long hot day out at the Arapahoue A&P Show this past Saturday 11th Feb. 2012. We took Levi & his dam, Creamy, along with Emma’s beloved pony, Major to do some jumping classes.

Golden Horse Ring – Parklands Playboy (Levi) Reserve Champion Youngstock (Palomino/Sooty Palomino) Golden Horse Ring – Mahogany Ice Delight (Creamy) Reserve Champion Adult (Cremello/Dun/Buckskin)
Welsh Pony Ring – Parklands Playboy (Levi) won the Best foal Rosette for purebred or partbred.

Emma & My Major also did well – did 4 jumping classes & came home with a 2nd & a 3rd.

Levi will now be turned out for winter. We are attending the Royal Easter Show in April where we will debut our new absolutely beautiful mare ~ Chelleason Dreams of Gold.

Parklands Sir Richie & Parklands Azaria SOLD

It is with great pleasure & sadness at the same time to announce the sale of Parklands Sir Richie (formerly Parklands BubbleGum ~ name change/registered at request of new owner) and Parklands Azaria. Parklands Sir Richie is going on to Teaklyn Stud in South Auckland to be a future stud stallion which we are very proud about. Parklands Azaria will leave us upon weaning in February to her new home with Carol Miller at Highbridge Sporthorse Stud where she will have a ridden/show career with Carol. We look forward to hearing all about them in the future and cannot thank their new owners enough for offering our babies such wonderful homes. Also we are very sadly saying goodbye to Alanda Fact or Fiction (Sweetie) as she is leaving us to her new home tomorrow.

We are very happy to welcome the absolutely stunning stallion ”Greenlee Solomon” to our stud. Solly will be with us for a short while – many thanks to owner Tracey Parrish of Hillbilly Stud in Christchurch for allowing Solly to be with us until he moves on. Solly will be bred to our beautiful purebred arabian mare “Windvale Azleta” for a spring 2012 Welsh/Arab foal. Hard to believe Solly is 19 years old – he has absolutely to die for movement! Photos taken just after he arrived from his long trip north from Christchurh, thus looking a little tucked up. (Solly has now left us to go to his new lease home – any interest in using Solly can be directed to me & breeding can be arranged at my property to a small number of approved mares)

Parklands Playboy’s 1st & 2nd outings

Waimate North A&P Show Nov. 2011

So very proud of Parklands Playboy (Levi) at his very first outing as a 14week old foal with his beautiful dam – Mahogany Ice Delight.

We attended our local Waimate North A&P Show in the Led Pony ring where Levi won his foal/yearling class then went on to win

Reserve Champion against a ring of ALL adult horses with the exception of one yearling. Levi was such a good boy, stood at the float

tied up all day, had a few lie downs & a snoozes ~ got alot of admirers who gave lovely comments. Even his “Aunty Hilary” (Levi’s vet)

came to watch her wee boy! Hilary took some photos which I am just waiting on so that I can upload them on here. Thanks so much to

Nancy TeWhata for her fantastic plaiting of Levi, being his dams handler for me, great support to both myself & Emma who was jumping

Major all afternoon in the pony ring. A great day had by all! Next outing is Whangarei A&P Show Friday 2nd Dec. where Levi is entered

in the Led Pony ring & also the Derivative Arabians.

Another great day out except for the rain! Thanks again to the lovely Nancy TeWhata for leading Mahogany Ice Delight & again for her great plaiting skills! Levi (4months old) had a great time showing off in the right class – Partbred Classic Action in the arab ring - he wowed the judge when he burst into the ring with his tail over his back and trotted up a storm!

Our beautiful Creamy (Reg. Sect. A Cremello Welsh) has today (2/11/11) scanned infoal to Fairview Kubla Khan *au (purebred arabian) due in the early spring of 2012. This resulting Palomino foal will be a full sibling to Parklands Playboy and will be availabe for sale. Expressions of interest are welcome.
